MEET THE EXPERTS

Enjoy fascinating talks from experts, teaching you how to best look after your animal friends, whether you have your own or are looking to expand your family. Professor Noel Fitzpatrick will be inspiring children at Noel’s Ark, talking about the strong bond he shares with animals and why he decided to become a vet. You can also watch live training demonstrations including sessions from Britain’s Got Talent’s Lucy Heath.

Enjoy superb high-action animal displays from the Conquest K9 Dog Display team featuring agility, criminal and control work. Alongside amazing dancing Jack Russell’s, an unmissable birds of prey display and so much more, the Activity Arena will be jam-packed.

ANIMAL RESCUE BARN

This year the National Pet Show is introducing the BRAND NEW Animal Rescue Barn, hosted by TV Presenter Michaela Strachan. Local charities will bring along animals who are in search of their forever home. You can learn their stories and all their living needs, to see if you’d be suitable to rehome some of these adorable animals.

HOUND HANGOUT

Hangout and take some pictures with some of the gorgeous dogs of Instagram. The BRAND NEW Hound Hangout will give you the opportunity to meet some famous online pooches and talk to the people who have introduced their pups to internet stardom.

Stick around as there will be appearances from Lucy Heath and Trip Hazard, alongside Hagrid the Guinness World Record Holder Leonberger!

FUN-FILLED KIDS ZONE

The Kid’s Zone is a great place for children of all ages to tune into their animal instinct. They can get up close and personal during animal handling sessions, enjoy storytelling and book signings, and learn all about animals and whether they can handle the responsibility of looking after one.
